US population growth from July 2020 to July 2021 was the lowest since 1776, as Covid-19 slowed immigration, hindered pregnancies, and killed hundreds of thousands of people in the US. The pandemic will also damage the economy, curtailing growth. Our aging population needs more young people who will work and buy cars, homes, and other goods and services. Without immigration, our future is much bleaker.
How have you been affected by the pandemic? Are you concerned about the effects of Covid-19 on the economy? What do you fear most?
