I used to love to use the Netscape internet browser. It’s long gone. Now most of us use Google Chrome. I loved the Infoseek search engine. It’s gone, too. Now Google is the favorite. I loved to rent movies at Blockbuster Video stores. Netflix demolished Blockbuster. Innovators may not survive. Market leaders may be pushed off the throne by an upstart no one has ever heard of. Walmart destroyed Sears with Amazon’s help. Dollar stores are threatening lots of retailers. Today every company must be vigilant. No one knows if an innovator or disrupter will end up dominating the competition or fading away. Bitcoin was the first cryptocurrency, but certainly not the last. Now there are over 10,000 cryptocurrencies, with about 100 new ones created every day. Will Bitcoin be the dominant cryptocurrency in ten years? God only knows. It certainly has a lot of competition.
Do you own cryptocurrency? If so, how did you decide which to buy? What are your investment goals? How confident are you that your plans will enable you to retire comfortably?
